What is Holism?/Qué es el Holismo

When we try to materialise through words, a piece of art, through movement or dance or, for instance, a theatre piece something that we cannot touch as the spirit, from me view, I have to say that magic arises. 

I wouldn't like that mystical or spiritual, in this context, was understood as something dark or difficult to access to. In fact, spirit is part of us in the same way than matter is.

We are spiritual and material beings and it is a mistake the negation of any of these two parts because spirit needs phisical body to live its experience in this planet and this phisical body needs the spirit to make sense in this experience that we are living in this wonderful planet that we call The Earth.

In this way, it is shown the contradiction that would be thinking of, as multidimensional beings who are part of a whole, we are not dependant to the same laws that govern this whole that is nature, the Universe. 

This is holism, the understanding of everything created, included persons of course, are part of a whole. In the same way, the components that take part our being are interconnected between them, at the same time that we are with Mother Earth and a big scale, with the Universe.

Cuando tratamos de materializar ya sea con palabras, a través de una obra de arte, a través de la danza o por ejemplo una obra de teatro algo intangible como es el espíritu, desde mi sentir, he de decir que surge la magia.

No me gustaría que se entendiera lo místico o lo espiritual en este contexto como algo oscuro o de difícil acceso. De hecho, forma parte de nosotros de igual manera que lo hace la materia.

Somos seres tanto espirituales como materiales y es un error negar cualquiera de las dos partes ya que el espíritu necesita del cuerpo físico, mental y emocional para vivir su experiencia terrenal y este cuerpo necesita del espíritu para darle sentido a esa experiencia que vivimos en este maravilloso planeta al que llamamos Tierra.

Así, se pone en evidencia la contradicción que sería pensar que, como seres multidimensionales y que formamos parte de un todo, no nos regimos por las mismas leyes que rigen ese todo que es la naturaleza, el Universo.

Justo esto es el holismo, el entendimiento de que todo lo creado, incluídas las personas por supuesto, formamos parte de un todo. Así, los componentes que forman nuestro ser (tanto material como espiritual) están interconectados entre sí, a la vez que lo estamos con todos demás seres, con la Madre Tierra y sus ciclos y a gran escala, con el Universo.
